Regarded by many as New Mexico's preeminent painter of historic Native American pottery and figures, Kevin McDermott was one of Lynn's favorite artists. His oil and acrylic paintings have such a profound level of realism, they almost appear photographic; and this colorful renering of a Hopi water vessel is no exception.
With a Midnight Blue acrylic background on artboard, this unframed work has some minor, but visible imperfections on the background, but none take away from the power and beauty of this one-of-a-kind original work.
A genuine treasure.
